Item Description

Manual Arcilla

The Spanish Manual Arcilla is a handmade wall tile measuring 7.5 x 15 cm and 0.9 cm thick, made in one of our creative factories in Spain. It's a Spanish ceramic tile with a rustic look and a smooth surface. It's available in a variety of colors and combines beautifully with our other collections.

Good to know
Our Spanish ceramic tiles are glazed by hand before being fired in a large tiled kiln. The production process is still carried out in an authentic manner, which is reflected in the craftsmanship of the tiles. The glaze is very robust, making the tiles versatile. These Spanish tiles are only suitable as wall tiles and are available in a matte or glossy finish.

The Manual tile has a rectangular format that's ideal for a variety of installation patterns. Think herringbone, half-brick, or block. They're available in both matte and glossy finishes. Choose trendy colors like amber, moss, or navy blue? Or do you prefer a timeless color like dark green, light blue, or anthracite?

Laying Spanish tiles
Spanish tiles are easy to install; please refer to our installation instructions. We recommend reading them carefully before you begin tiling. Or hire a qualified tiler who is familiar with this type of tile.

Crackle tiles have small, intentional cracks in the glaze on their surface. These can become even more pronounced when grouting. If you don't want this effect, you should impregnate the tiles before grouting to prevent the cracks from filling with the material. This is inherent in the product and does not affect its lifespan or intended use.

Crackle tiles should generally be impregnated in wet areas to prevent them from absorbing moisture.
Use our Azule Stain Stop to impregnate the craquelé tiles.

These authentic tiles can be used as wall tiles and can be installed both indoors and outdoors. For outdoor use: on a hardened surface such as a stone wall, under a roof, protected from rain and sun. Severe frost can cause cracking.

They're ideal for wet areas like showers, toilets, or bathrooms, but they also look great in kitchens and hallways. These tiles also make a difference in restaurants and shops!

Colors, patterns and sizes
Spanish tiles are available in a wide range of colors, shapes, and sizes. Each batch will exhibit slight color variations, even within a single package. Rounded corners and irregularities in the color gradient are intentional to create a certain atmosphere. This is not a defect. In addition to the standard rectangular and square shapes, other shapes are also very popular, such as hexagons, triangles, fish scales (escamas), and laternas.

Ordering and delivery
All our tiles are delivered in complete packaging units only. If you need help calculating the required quantities, expert advice, or a customized quote, we're happy to help. Visit us in one of our showrooms, contact us by email, or call us.

Orders are delivered directly to your home via our carrier. They are securely secured on a pallet, minimizing the risk of breakage. Delivery costs are calculated based on weight, volume, and postal code area and are included in the quote as standard.

It is also possible to pick up the tiles from our Europe-wide warehouse in Breda. Pickup is only possible by prior arrangement. Please note that German and Dutch invoicing differ; payment can only be processed through the German branch.

If you would like to see the tile in person and are unable to visit one of our showrooms, you can order a sample via our website or by email.

Care
Spanish tiles have a hard top layer and are easy to maintain. Weekly cleaning with an all-purpose cleaner is recommended. Preferably use an acid-free product that is not too greasy.

For heavy soiling, we recommend using Azule Dirt Remover. This powerful degreaser can tackle most types of dirt on various tile types.
