Acid-free descaler
The acid-free descaler is a cleaner specially developed for removing limescale and grout residue from lime-based tiles, such as cement tiles. This descaler is a limescale binder and will not harm the surface of delicate tiles. Thanks to its limescale-binding properties, it collects excess deposits on the tiles and can then be easily rinsed away.
Good to know
Acid-free descaler is used after grouting to safely remove excess grout and adhesive residue from cement tiles. We also recommend using our acid-free descaler immediately after grouting, but before grouting, to remove adhesive residue and limescale, preventing them from penetrating the tiles. It can also be used diluted as a replacement for an acidic product like Antikal to remove limescale from the shower area (floor, wall, fixtures, and glass) without damaging the tiles.
How to use Acid-Free Descaler
Dilute the acid-free descaler with water according to the specified dosage and apply it to the surface with a sponge. Let it work for a few minutes, then scrub the tiles thoroughly. You can repeat this process if necessary. Then let the tiles dry for 12 hours.
Dosage:
Depending on the level of dirt, dilute the acid-free descaler with clean tap water in a ratio of 1:10 to 1:2.
Suitable for
Suitable for all tile types, but specially developed for porous and delicate tiles such as Portuguese cement tiles and natural stone.
