Terrazzo Alla Mandorle Terrazzo Alla Mandorle is a handmade terrazzo tile measuring 41x41 cm and 1.8 cm thick. The minimum order quantity is 2 m2, only in whole packaging units. This tile is suitable for walls and floors. Terrazzo is made from marble grains or small stones in various colors, which are pressed into colored cement or clay. After drying, the tile is polished and impregnated to protect against stains and other dirt. Due to the polished surface, the tile is non-porous and less sensitive to dirt than other natural stones. Nevertheless, it is a natural stone and may only be treated with neutral processing and care products. Terrazzo slabs from Design Tiles are available in various colors. Over the years, you will be amazed at how the longer the tile is installed, the deeper and more beautiful it becomes!
Good to know Terrazzo, or granito, tiles are manufactured in individual batches. Because they are a combination of different marble grains and small stones, no two batches are the same. The color of the tile or the size of the granules or pebbles may vary. This is part of the manufacturing process and inherent in the product. The sample or tile you see in the showroom is a snapshot and provides you with an indication.
Laying terrazzo tiles
Terrazzo tiles are thicker and heavier than regular tiles and should be installed by an experienced tiler. We recommend installing terrazzo with acid-free adhesive and grout. Read all about the installation and care of our terrazzo tiles

Suitable for Terrazzo tiles are floor and wall tiles suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Terrazzo tiles are also available with a non-slip, glossy, natural, and hammered finish. For outdoor use or in the shower, we recommend the anti-slip version. These tiles are ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, porches, and restrooms. Terrazzo tiles are also ideal for restaurants, large entrance areas, and older buildings.
Ordering, delivery and shipping The minimum order quantity is 2m2, and only available in whole packaging units. If you would like help calculating the required quantities, expert advice, or a customized quote, we are happy to assist you in one of our showrooms, by phone, or online. Orders are delivered directly to your home by our carrier. They are securely secured on a pallet, and the risk of breakage is minimal. Delivery costs are calculated based on weight and volume, as well as the postcode area, and are included in the quote as standard. It is also possible to collect the tiles from our Europe-wide warehouse in Breda. Collection is only possible by prior arrangement. Please note that German and Dutch invoicing differ; payment can only be processed through the German branch. If you would like to inspect the tile in person and are unable to visit one of our showrooms, you can order a sample via our website or email.
maintenance Terrazzo tiles are easy to maintain. We recommend weekly wiping with an acid-free product, such as our own fragrant and rich Azule Tile Soap. This creates a satin-gloss, protective layer on the surface. Be careful with acids or grease. These can cause unsightly stains or discoloration that are difficult to remove. If you spill something, clean it with water as soon as possible! For heavily soiled surfaces, we recommend using AZULE Dirt Remover. This degreaser will tackle most types of dirt on various types of tiles.
