Azule tile oil
Azule Tile Oil is a waterproofing agent for cement tiles. Azule Tile Oil contains solvents and protective oils and was specially developed to combat (grease) stains.
Azule tile oil deepens the color of cement tiles and protects the surface from external influences, making them less susceptible to (grease) stains.
Tile oil is used as a protective layer in kitchens, hallways, and living rooms. It is used as a second impregnating agent after stain stop has been applied and after grouting the tiles. Do not use tile oil in damp rooms!
Good to know
Tile oil can cause (light) discoloration. Do you have cement tiles with a high proportion of white in the pattern? And don't like the oil giving them a slight yellow tinge? Then you can also use Azule Stain Stop for the third and fourth impregnation coats. Tile oil should be applied in kitchens, as this product has excellent properties against (grease) stains.
Always close the lid of the packaging immediately after use. Leaving the container open for too long will impair the product's effectiveness!
Once opened, tile oil can be stored in a cool, dry place for 1 year.
How do I use tile oil?
Ensure the tiles are clean and dry before waterproofing. Spread the tile oil evenly over the tiles using a waterproofing pad or roller. Do this in small increments (approximately 12 tiles or at arm's length). Allow the oil to work for approximately 5 minutes, then rub it in with a lint-free cotton cloth. Repeat this process until the tiles are completely saturated. Allow the tiles to dry for at least 24 hours before walking on them.
Suitable for
Only porous tiles, such as cement tiles or other natural stones like marble, require waterproofing. The pores must be saturated. CAUTION: Do not oversaturate the tile, as the excess will dry to the surface!
Complete installation instructions for cement tiles can be found on our website.
