Item Description

Morocco Forest

The Marocca Forest is a handcrafted Moroccan cement tile measuring 30.5 x 6 cm and 1.6 cm thick. It is a uniformly matte tile with vibrant color nuances. This elongated format allows for various installation styles, such as a herringbone or half-bond.

These unique tiles are produced especially for us and are therefore only available from Design Tiles.

Good to know
Moroccan cement tiles are beautiful tiles made using traditional methods. They are handcrafted and hydraulically pressed in our factory. Because this tile is not fired, it is more sensitive to stains and requires impregnation during and after installation. The colors are mixed manually, which may result in color variations within a batch, even within a package. This is inherent in the product and does not constitute a defect.

Laying cement tiles
Moroccan cement tiles require special attention during installation. We provide installation instructions at the time of purchase or at any time on our website. We recommend reading them carefully before installing and waterproofing the tiles. Alternatively, hire a qualified tiler who is familiar with this type of tile. In short, it's important to know that they are sensitive to acids and corrosive substances. Therefore, treat cement tiles like natural stone, such as marble or granite. Then you can't go wrong.

Suitable for
Cement tiles are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, as well as for walls and floors. They are ideal for your hallway, toilet, bathroom, or kitchen. A real eye-catcher for any room! Please note that the tiles require waterproofing. Depending on the room, special products may be required. For outdoor use, we recommend protecting the tiles from the elements, for example, by installing them on a veranda or under a roof. Outdoors, they are more quickly damaged by rain and sun.

Custom formats
Marocca tiles are available in a wide range of colors. Each batch may exhibit slight color variations, even within a single package. These irregularities are due to the production process and do not constitute a defect. Are you looking for a shape not listed as standard in our collection? Ask us about the possibilities.

Ordering and delivery
All our tiles are delivered in complete packaging units only. If you need help calculating the required quantities, expert advice, or a customized quote, we're happy to help. Visit us in one of our showrooms, contact us by email, or call us.

Orders are delivered directly to your home via our carrier. They are securely secured on a pallet, minimizing the risk of breakage. Delivery costs are calculated based on weight, volume, and postal code area and are included in the quote as standard.

It is also possible to pick up the tiles from our Europe-wide warehouse in Breda. Pickup is only possible by prior arrangement. Please note that German and Dutch invoicing differ; payment can only be processed through the German branch.

If you would like to see the tile in person and are unable to visit one of our showrooms, you can order a sample via our website or by email.

Care
Marocca tiles are easy to maintain. Weekly wiping with an acid-free product such as our Azule Tile Soap creates a silky, shimmering protective layer on the surface.

Be careful with acids or grease. These can cause unsightly stains or discoloration that are difficult to remove later. If you spill something, clean it with water as quickly as possible! For heavily soiled surfaces, we recommend using AZULE Dirt Remover. This degreaser can tackle most types of dirt on various tile types.
