Zellige Naturel - Blanc Soleil
The Zellige Blanc Naturel Soleil consists of various shapes that combine to create a pattern. They are mounted on mats, making them easy to work with. The Zellige Soleil is a handmade mosaic measuring approximately 26 x 26.5 cm and 1 cm thick, and comes from one of our factories in Fez, Morocco. The surface is smooth yet vibrant, with beautiful color nuances. Because each tile is slightly different, the result is vibrant. Although the tile looks rustic, it also fits perfectly into a modern interior.
Good to know
Zelliges (pronounced "zulliezjes") are handmade wall tiles from Morocco. They are fired in a special way and later cut at an angle so they can be placed closely together. This labor-intensive process gives the tiles their unique appearance and character. The clay used to make Zelliges can only be found in Fez, Morocco. This clay contains lime pits, which are regularly found on the surface of the tile or in the glaze. This also applies to small irregularities in the thickness of the surface. This is characteristic of this type of tile and should be considered normal.

Installation of Zelliges
Moroccan tiles require special attention during installation and have their own installation instructions. Upon purchase, you will receive a step-by-step plan with instructions and tips. We recommend reading these instructions carefully before installing the tiles. Alternatively, you can hire a qualified tiler who is familiar with this type of tile.
Suitable for
Zelliges can be used both indoors and outdoors. For outdoor use: under a roof, protected from water and sun. Severe frost can cause cracks in the glaze. They are only suitable as wall tiles. The surface is irregular, so sharp edges may occur. They are ideal for hallways, toilets, bathrooms, and kitchens. Zelliges are also very suitable for hotels and restaurants.
Colors and sizes
Zelliges is available in many different colors. Each batch will have a slight color difference. Furthermore, tiles from a box may have color variations and irregularities due to the production process and should be considered normal. Zelliges is hand-cut into various sizes and shapes. In our country, we mostly see square and rectangular shapes. The most beautiful shapes, which are often used to create mosaics, are produced in the country of origin. Ordering, delivery and shipping
These tiles are delivered per box. For help calculating the required quantities, expert advice, or a customized quote, please visit one of our showrooms. Orders can be delivered to your home by our carrier. They are securely placed on a pallet, minimizing the risk of breakage. The costs for this are calculated based on weight and volume and may be included in the quote. It is also possible to pick up the tiles from our warehouse in Breda or our showroom in Utrecht. Collection is only possible by appointment and subject to availability. maintenance
Zelliges have a hard top layer and are easy to maintain. Weekly mopping or cleaning with an all-purpose cleaner is recommended. Preferably use an acid-free product that is not too greasy. For heavy soiling, we recommend using Azule Dirt Remover. This powerful degreaser removes most soils on various tile types.
