Patchwork Yellow
The Patchwork Yellow is a handmade Portuguese cement tile measuring 20x20cm and 1.6cm thick. This pattern tile is suitable for walls and floors. The Portuguese tile is available in a variety of cheerful colors and includes a pattern. The image shows an indication of the patterns you can expect in the mix. However, this may vary from box to box.
Cement tiles have vibrant color nuances and a matte appearance. Please note that cement tiles are porous and always require waterproofing.
Good to know
Cement tiles, also known as Portuguese tiles, are tiles made using traditional methods. They are still handcrafted and individually pressed in our factory, just as they were done 100 years ago. Cement tiles exhibit irregularities and vibrant color nuances, and may also vary slightly in color. This is normal for this type of tile and should be considered normal. There are many possible styles, from classic to retro or modern. Cement tiles also pair very well with other materials such as wood, steel, and concrete.
Laying cement tiles
Cement tiles require special attention during installation and come with their own instructions. Upon purchase, we will provide you with a step-by-step plan with instructions and tips. We recommend reading these instructions carefully before installing the tiles. Alternatively, you can hire a qualified tiler who is familiar with this type of tile.
Suitable for
Cement tiles can be used as floor and wall tiles and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor use, they should be placed on a hard surface such as concrete, under a roof, and protected from rain and sun. Severe frost can cause cracks.
They are ideal tiles for residential areas, such as kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, living rooms, porches, and restrooms. Portuguese cement tiles are also perfectly suited for commercial settings such as offices or restaurants.
Colors, patterns and sizes
Cement tiles are available in a wide range of sizes, colors, and patterns. We also supply cement tiles with custom colors and patterns, tailored to your needs. Each batch may have color variations or irregularities. This is due to the production process and should be considered normal.
Ordering, delivery and shipping
These tiles are delivered per carton. If you would like help calculating the required quantities, expert advice, or a customized quote, we would be happy to assist you in one of our showrooms.
Orders can be delivered to your home via our carrier. They will be securely placed on a pallet, minimizing the risk of breakage. The costs for this are calculated based on weight and volume and may be included in the quote.

Care
Cement tiles are easy to maintain. Weekly mopping with an acid-free cleaning agent like our own cleaning soap also provides additional protection for the surface.
Beware of acids, which can cause unsightly stains or discoloration that are difficult to remove later. Once you've spilled something, wipe it away with water and don't leave it on the tiles. This also applies to grease and other liquids.
You can remove grease stains, paint, or heavy soiling with one of our special cleaning products.
