Elephant Bars
The Barritas Elefante is a 12.5 x 25 cm and 0.85 cm thick wall tile from one of our creative factories in Spain. This ceramic tile is a variation of the well-known KitKat tile. For Barritas, this means a large (solid) tile consisting of small, elongated tiles. Joints are cut between the "KitKat" tiles, which you can grout in any color you like. These Spanish KitKats are available in two different sizes, various colors, and in matte and glossy finishes. The colors of the Barritas also match the other tiles in our collection, allowing you to creatively combine the shape, the tile on the wall, and the floor!
Good to know
Our Spanish ceramic tiles are glazed by hand before being fired in a large kiln. The production process is still authentic, and this is often reflected in the surface of the tiles. The top layer is highly wear-resistant and can therefore be used for a variety of purposes. These Spanish tiles are only suitable as wall tiles.
This KitKat tile consists of a hard backing with sanded strips that you can grout after installation. If you want to install these tiles on a round wall, you can cut the strips individually and attach them loosely to the wall.
Laying Spanish tiles
Spanish tiles are easy to install and come with their own installation instructions. Upon purchase, you will receive a step-by-step plan with instructions and tips. We recommend reading these instructions carefully before installing the tiles. Do you need a tiler for your project? Suitable for
These creative tiles can be used as wall tiles and are suitable for indoor use. They are ideal for wet areas such as showers, toilets, or bathrooms, but also look great in kitchens and hallways. These tiles also make a big difference in the appearance of restaurants and shops!
Colors, patterns and sizes
Spanish tiles come in numerous colors, shapes, and sizes. Each batch exhibits slight color variations. Furthermore, tiles from the same box often exhibit color variations and irregularities. This is sometimes intentional to create a certain atmosphere or is part of the production process and should be considered normal.
Ordering, delivery and shipping
These tiles are delivered per carton. If you would like help calculating the required quantities, expert advice, or a customized quote, we would be happy to assist you in one of our showrooms.
Orders can be delivered to your home via our carrier. They will be securely placed on a pallet, minimizing the risk of breakage. The cost for this is calculated based on weight and volume and is included in the quote where applicable.
It is also possible to pick up the tiles from our warehouse in Breda or our showroom in Utrecht. Pickup is only possible by appointment and subject to availability.

maintenance
Spanish tiles have a hard top layer and are easy to maintain. Weekly mopping or wiping with an all-purpose cleaner is recommended. Preferably use an acid-free product that is not too greasy.
For heavy soiling, we recommend using Azule Dirt Remover. This powerful degreaser removes most dirt from various tile types.
