Essence Humo
The Essence of Humour is an industrially manufactured tile measuring 120x120 cm and 1.15 cm thick, and comes from one of our factories in Spain. This ceramic wall and floor tile has a natural appearance with a special texture reminiscent of earth or sand. Each tile is slightly different, giving it a vibrant and natural look. This tile can be installed both indoors and outdoors and in a variety of styles.
Good to know
The surface of these tiles is printed using one of the most modern techniques. Small reliefs are often noticeable on the surface, giving it a vibrant and natural appearance. The quality is excellent, the wear resistance is high, and maintenance is easy.
Laying ceramic tiles
Ceramic tiles are easy to install and come with their own installation instructions. Upon purchase, you will receive a step-by-step plan with instructions and tips. We recommend reading these instructions carefully before installing the tiles. Or hire a qualified tiler who is familiar with this type of tile.
Suitable for
These modern tiles can be used as floor and wall tiles and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. They're ideal for wet areas like showers, toilets, or bathrooms, but they also look beautiful in the kitchen, living room, or hallway. They're even the tiles that make all the difference in the look of restaurants and shops!
Colors, patterns and formats
Concrete-look ceramic tiles are available in a variety of colors, formats, and designs. Beautiful, vibrant concrete tones are indistinguishable from real tiles. Each batch may exhibit color variations or irregularities. This is due to the production process and should be considered normal. Typically, several sizes are available, including very large formats that cover an entire wall.
Ordering and delivery
These tiles are sold per box. If you would like help calculating the required quantities, expert advice, or a customized quote, we would be happy to assist you in one of our showrooms. Orders can be delivered to your home by our shipping company. They are securely packed on a pallet to minimize the risk of breakage. Shipping costs are calculated according to weight and volume and are included in the quote where applicable. It is also possible to collect the tiles from our warehouse in Breda or our showroom in Utrecht. Collection is only possible by appointment and subject to availability. If you would like to see the tiles in person and are unable to visit one of our showrooms, you have the option of ordering a sample via our website.
Care
Ceramic tiles have a hard top layer and are easy to maintain. Weekly mopping or cleaning with an all-purpose cleaner is recommended. Preferably use an acid-free product that is not too greasy.
