Gray 06
Gris 06 is a handmade Portuguese cement tile measuring 20x20cm and 1.6cm thick. This sample tile is suitable for walls and floors, as well as for indoor and outdoor use. The Portuguese cement tile is available in a variety of colors and designs. Cement tiles feature vibrant color nuances and a matte finish. Colors can be changed as needed. Please note that cement tiles are porous and always require waterproofing.

Cement tiles, also known as Portuguese tiles, are tiles that are handcrafted in the traditional way, just like more than 100 years ago! Cement tiles exhibit irregularities and vibrant color nuances that may vary from one another. This is inherent in this type of tile and does not constitute a defect.
With these tiles, you can create a variety of interior styles, from classic to retro or modern. Cement tiles also pair well with other materials such as wood, steel, and concrete.
Laying cement tiles
Cement tiles require special attention during installation; please refer to our installation instructions! We recommend reading them carefully before installing the tiles. Or hire a qualified tiler who is familiar with this type of tile.
Suitable for
Cement tiles can be installed as floor and wall tiles and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor use, they should be installed on a dry, well-leveled surface such as concrete, under a roof, and protected from rain and sun. Severe frost can cause cracks. Cement tiles are ideal for indoor areas such as the kitchen, bathroom, hallway, living room, porch, and toilet of your home, as well as for offices, hotels, or restaurants.
Colors, patterns and sizes
Cement tiles are available in a wide range of sizes, colors, and patterns. We can also supply cement tiles with custom colors and designs, tailored to your needs. Each batch may have color variations or irregularities. This is due to the production process and does not constitute a defect.
Ordering and delivery
All our tiles are delivered in complete packaging units only. If you need help calculating the required quantities, expert advice, or a customized quote, we're happy to help. Visit us in one of our showrooms, contact us by email, or call us.
Orders are delivered directly to your home via our carrier. They are securely secured on a pallet, minimizing the risk of breakage. Delivery costs are calculated based on weight, volume, and postal code area and are included in the quote as standard.
It is also possible to pick up the tiles from our Europe-wide warehouse in Breda. Pickup is only possible by prior arrangement. Please note that German and Dutch invoicing differ; payment can only be processed through the German branch. If you would like to inspect the tile in person and are unable to visit one of our showrooms, you can order a sample via our website or by email.
Care
Cement tiles are easy to maintain. We recommend weekly wiping with an acid-free product such as our own Azule Tile Soap. This creates a satin-matte, protective layer on the surface.
Be careful with acids or grease. These can cause unsightly stains or discoloration that are difficult to remove later. If you spill something, clean it with water as quickly as possible! For heavily soiled surfaces, we recommend using AZULE Dirt Remover. This degreaser can tackle most types of dirt on various tile types.
