Mosaic Border Block Pattern
The Mosaic Border Block Pattern is a handcrafted natural stone mosaic tile with a mat size of 30.5 x 22 cm and a thickness of 1 cm. This pattern is available in various marble colors and contains several small marble pieces that form a combined pattern or shape. These tiles are delivered on mats and are easy to install on walls and floors, indoors and outdoors.
Good to know
Mosaic tiles, also known as marble mosaics, are beautiful tiles made using traditional methods. Since natural stone has many color nuances, the marble pieces are thoroughly blended to achieve a uniform appearance. Color variations are inherent in this product and do not constitute a defect. Also consider waste to avoid costly reorders. Marble is not fired; it is a purely natural product. Like all natural stones, marble is sensitive to stains; in areas subject to heavy wear, we recommend impregnating it with our stain stop. These individual marble stones are cube-shaped, so each stone measures 1 x 1 x 1 cm. The Mosaic Border is ideal as a border tile or border for your hallway, bathroom, or kitchen, on walls or floors.
Laying marble mosaic
Marble mosaic mats are easy to install, but cutting them to size requires skill. We recommend reading our installation instructions carefully before installing the tiles. Or hire a qualified tiler who is familiar with this type of tile.
Suitable for
We recommend using marble mosaic tiles indoors only. They are suitable as floor tiles, but can of course also be installed on walls. They are ideal tiles for your hallway, toilet, bathroom, and kitchen, as well as for public spaces such as restaurants or hotels. They give a room a chic look! Please note that the tiles may require treatment depending on wear and tear. If you plan to use the tiles outdoors, we recommend doing so only in protected areas, such as under a veranda or roof. Weather influences such as sun and rain can change the appearance of the marble; the tiles may fade, and the surface may be damaged.

Are you looking for a color combination and/or pattern that isn't included in our standard collection? Design Tiles can also supply custom marble colors and patterns, tailored to your needs. This is possible under special conditions and involves additional costs; delivery times may be slightly longer than usual. Please ask us about the possibilities if you're interested in a custom-made product.
Ordering and delivery
All our tiles are delivered in complete packaging units. If you need help calculating the required quantities, expert advice, or a customized quote, we are happy to help. We are available in one of our showrooms, by email, or by phone. Orders are delivered directly to your home via our carrier. They are securely secured on a pallet, minimizing the risk of breakage. Delivery costs are calculated based on weight, volume, and postal code and are included in the quote as standard. Tiles can also be picked up from our Europe-wide warehouse in Breda. Collection is only possible by prior arrangement. Please note that German and Dutch invoicing differ; payment can only be processed through the German branch. If you would like to inspect the tile in person and are unable to visit one of our showrooms, you can order a sample via our website or email.
Care
Marble mosaic tiles are easy to maintain. Weekly wiping with an acid-free product such as our AZULE Tile Soap leaves an additional protective layer on the surface. Be careful with acids, as they can cause unsightly stains or discoloration that are difficult to remove later. If you spill anything, clean it immediately with water and do not leave anything on the tiles. This also applies to grease and other liquids. The sooner you clean, the better. We offer special cleaning products for grease stains, paint stains, etc. For heavily soiled surfaces, we recommend using Superboen. This degreaser will tackle most types of dirt on various tile types.
