Limestone Gris Foncee
The Limestone Gris Foncee is a handcrafted limestone tile measuring 20 x 5 cm and 2 cm thick. This natural stone is softer and more porous than marble and comes from the mountains of Morocco. The tiles are sold in full packs. These wall and floor tiles are suitable for any room.

This limestone has been used for centuries to build houses and castles. It's a natural stone that's softer and more porous than ceramic tiles. This can lead to increased wear, especially if the tile is exposed to a lot of water, such as in showers.
You can choose to treat the limestone with a waterproofing treatment, as we do with cement tiles. This ensures that it is protected from moisture and dirt.
Installation of limestone
Limestone tiles (natural stone) require special attention during installation and have a separate installation plan for them. Upon purchase, you will receive a step-by-step guide with instructions and tips. We recommend that you read these instructions carefully before installing the tiles. Or you can hire an experienced tiler who is familiar with this type of tile.
Suitable for
Limestone tiles can be installed in any room. They make excellent floor tiles. Floor tiles are also suitable for walls, though keep in mind that they are usually thicker. These limestone tiles are ideal for hallways, restrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens. Not to mention their impact in restaurants or hotels. They lend a room a natural, warm appearance. Please note that the tiles may require treatment. Whether this is necessary depends on the desired design. Ask our customer service team!

Orders are delivered directly to your home by our carrier. Costs depend on weight and volume and are included in the order.
Collection from our central warehouse in Breda is only possible by prior arrangement.

maintenance
Our limestone tiles are easy to maintain. Weekly wiping with an acid-free cleaner like our long-lasting Azule Liquid Soap is highly recommended, as it provides additional protection to the surface.
Be careful with acids; they cause unsightly stains or discolorations that are difficult or even impossible to remove later. As soon as you spill something, wipe it away with water and leave nothing behind on the tiles. This also applies to grease and other substances. The sooner you remove these messes, the better.
We offer special cleaning products for grease stains, paint stains, etc.
For heavy soiling, we recommend using Azule Dirt Remover. This degreaser removes most dirt from a wide variety of tile types.
